This kit solves a known problem of the Ferrari 355 models. The original exhaust valves of the 355 need back pressure to be completely open. If there is any leak in the back pressure system (porous tube, etc.) this would lead to the loss of the required back pressure and result in the original valves being unable to open anymore.
The Capristo replacement kit includes an exhaust valve that works the other way around and, if there should be any defects in the back pressure system it would automatically open, and stay open. In addition, it also has our patented, free-from-play mounting, which also guarantees an optimal and vibration-free performance at high temperatures.
